Take your Okatoma adventure by canoe. Seminary Canoe Rentals offers either eight (8) or sixteen (16) mile floats. You begin by renting the canoes from the Seminary Canoe Rental store located five miles south of Seminary, Mississippi on Old Highway 49. We're on the right, on the banks of the Okatoma. From our store we bus you up the river in our air conditioned buses and you canoe back to the convenience of your car! No waiting for the transportation back to your vehicle. We're the only outfitter on the river to offer this service. You will also find hot showers, clean restrooms and a great picnic area waiting for your Okatoma adventure right where you parked your car at Seminary Canoe Rentals.

Eight Mile Okatoma Creek Rentals Float (Rated #1)
Rated the number one whitewater float for canoeing in Mississippi, your trip begins at the Seminary bridge and ends at the Seminary Canoe Rentals landing and Okatoma camping and Okatoma cabins facilities. This trip takes in thee waterfalls and several class I rapids. The average paddling time is about three hours. There are sandbars along the way and a rope swing or two to enjoy as well. This is the best "day" float the Okatoma has to offer.

Sixteen Mile Okatoma Creek Rentals Float - 9 am drop only
We bus you and your party in our air conditioned buses to Kola and the trip ends at the Seminary Canoe Rentals landing. The trip consists of four waterfalls and several class I rapids. The average paddling time is seven hour. This is a great float for those who might want to do an overnight trip. It can be done in a day by those in good paddling shape so the overnight charge is not automatically applied.

Seminary Canoe Rentals offers a shuttle service for those who own their own boats. We will take you up the river for just $15.00 per canoe or kayak. Includes "take-out" and "parking" fees mentioned below.

Have a drop-off driver already? We invite you to use our facilities for take-out and parking. The take-out fee is $5.00 per canoe / kayak and the parking fee is $3.00 / day / vehicle.
